Dr Peter Kertesz was born in Budapest and came to England in 1957.

He trained at King’s College Hospital Medical & Dental School, qualifying in 1969. He has been practising in Mayfair since completing a House Surgeon’s post at the same Hospital.

In the little spare time he has, he enjoys photography, the cinema, his car and his cats. And fighting for “what is right”! He also loves good food and his Hungarian vocabulary still extends beyond the restaurant menu!

Marina Salvati – Dental Hygienist

NCDSA, RDH – GDC No: 3531

Marina was born near London, but brought up in Scotland and trained in Edinburgh Dental School as a Dental Hygienist, qualifying in 1988. She completed an advance periodontal therapy course at King’s College Hospital, London in 2013.

Marina is fluent in Italian and Spanish. She is able to repair the most intricate devices and being a superb cook, she enjoys entertaining friends and family.

Monika Mazurkiewicz – Dental Nurse

BA, NCDSA – GDC No: 126847

Monika started her career and training in Poland and continued it and qualifying in the UK. She has been working with us since 2008. As well as being an outstanding Dental Nurse, Monika has got a degree in English Language, speaks Polish, Italian, understands a little Russian and can read Latin.

She is a fantastic photographer and graphic designer and enjoys travelling and her exotic holidays!

Brenda Kertesz – Practice Manager

Dip. Ed.

Brenda was trained as a Primary School Teacher in Goldsmith / Rachel Macmillan College in South London. She has known Peter since their college days in 1966 and joined him in Brook Street in 1977.

Brenda has also had experience in working with special needs children and adults. In her leisure time she works hard to stay fit, reads avidly, loves her animals and is a committed Arsenal supporter!

Christine Burke

Christine Burke – Office support

Dip. Ed.

Christine is Brenda’s younger sister, who was also trained at Goldsmith / Rachel Macmillan College in South London as a primary school teacher.

Christine helps Brenda with the mountain of correspondence and invoices that invariably require processing.

She comes up from Kent where she tends to her wonderful garden and looks after her very active dog. She also enjoys travelling through France in her superb campervan.

The practice accepts patients for private dental treatment only.
